Youth Summer Camp 2026
This 3-night, 4-day camp will be held at Crowder Springs in Gastonia, NC.
Meals and lodging will be provided during the duration of camp.
This camp will be an amazing time and will transform your student's life.
The cost of the camp is $399, and we will be offering a sibling discount of $50 off. Any student from sixth-twelfth grade is welcome!

Bullets and BBQ 2026
We are going back to Shane's Sporting Clays. We will shoot on the 15-station clay course. Some of you may want to form teams for competition shooting.
We will start arriving at 8:00am. This event starts at 8:30am with breakfast served till 9:00am. Shooting the clays starts at 9:30am.
The Bar-B-Que starts at 11:30am and the event ends at 1:00pm. Children (ages 10-17) with interest are welcome, with parent or guardian supervision.
The registration fee for this event is $35.00.
The Car Show
Join us for The Car Show on Father’s Day - an awesome morning of horsepower, chrome, and community! Whether you’re showing off a classic ride, a modern machine, or just coming to admire the lineup, you don’t want to miss this event.

Church Picnic Bake-Off
Our Church Picnic Bake-Off will take place during our Churchwide Picnic on June 28 at the Fairgrounds! If you love to bake, this event is for you!
We will have two divisions:
• Pies
• Cobblers
Participants are asked to bring:
• One pie or cobbler for the contest
• One duplicate pie or cobbler for the dessert table
Registration will take place at the event. Winners will be judged and announced during the picnic, with prizes awarded to the top bakers!

Graduation Sunday
Graduation Sunday is happening on June 14th and we want to honor all graduates — high school, college, masters, doctorate, and specialty schools.
If you or someone you know is graduating, register to be honored and email up to three graduation photos to Pastor Joe so we can celebrate this huge accomplishment together. Send photos to Joe.musten@wsfirst.com

Prison Ministry
We are building a team of folks who would like to be a part of visiting the Forsyth Correctional Center on Cherry Street as an extension of the Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry. Our team helps with their Sunday night services four times a year. If you are interested, the next training session is June 6th at 8 am. We also help with the Father's Day and the Christmas Party in December. You will need to complete the application and take it with you to the training.
Beach Volleyball - Youth VS Young Adults
We will be hosting a beach volleyball game.
Youth (6th - 12th grade) vs Young Adults (18 y/o to late 20’s) !!!
Whether you are an experienced player or know nothing about it and just wanna have some fun… We want to see you there!

Education Sunday is coming up on May 24! We want to honor an outstanding educator, administrator, bus driver and facilities manager who make a difference every day. Bloom "Wild" Flower Party
Whether you’re a mom needing a "time-out" or just looking for a creative night with your besties, join us for a Wildflower & Iced tea Ladies Night on Friday, May 8th @ 7:00 PM.
We’re skipping the stiff, formal roses and leaning into the untamed beauty of spring. We will be building our own bouquets! There will also be games and giveaways! Cost is $25 per person to cover flowers, greenery, food, and drink. Please bring your own favorite vase and clippers, sheers or scissors.
Daughters 8 & up are welcome with registration. Registration for 8-12 year old girls is $10. Childcare is not available for this event.
WSF Men - The Big Breakfast
Attention WS1st Men,
Join us for The Big Breakfast on Saturday, April 25th, at 8:00 am. We will celebrate with a full spread. Featuring WS1st Men breakfast favorites. The guest speaker is a powerhouse. This is an event you don't want to miss. You can also invite and register men from outside the WSF family. Suggested donations of $10.00 will be accepted the day of the breakfast. KidCon 2026
Kidcon is back this January! At KidCon, children will embark on an exhilarating journey of faith and fun as they learn to take Jesus Everywhere. From thrilling games to inspiring lessons, KidCon promises an unforgettable experience where kids not only learn about God’s love but also discover who they are in Christ and how we all play a part in taking Jesus Everywhere.
When: Saturday, April 18th
Cost: $40
You can ride with us for an additional $5 (space is limited).
Ages: Elementary students in Grades 2-5
*Parents are encouraged to register and participate with their children! Join us!
Durham Bulls Trip
We will catch the AmTrak train from High Point, NC and ride it to Durham, NC. We will spend the afternoon in the area around the baseball stadium. Then we will watch the Durham Bulls play baseball.
Afterwards, we will head to the DoubleTree Suites for the night. Then Saturday morning we will get up, eat breakfast and then head back home on the train.
Water Baptism
Join us for water baptism during any of our 3 services (8:30 am, 10 am, or 11:30 am) on Sunday, April 12th. Jesus said to be baptised and so thats why we do it - this is a next step in faith as you follow Him!

Note: Grocery Give and City Serve Snack Outreach are simultaneous events. Please sign up for only one.
GROCERY GIVE AT WINSTON SALEM FIRST: Convoy of Hope is providing boxes of groceries to Winston Salem First for our Grocery Give Away this Easter.
We will give out hundreds of boxes of groceries to folks of our city who need food support on the Saturday right before Easter Sunday. If you would like to help with the effort, please register here and come to the Grand Concourse on Saturday, April 4th at 12:30.
Eggstraterrestrial Easter Egg Hunt
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience at the Eggstraterrestrial Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th, from 10 AM to 12 PM at WSFirst! Doors will open at 9:45 AM. This glow-in-the-dark egg hunt is going to be an egg-citing adventure with 20,000 eggs and egg hunts happening every 15 minutes in the auditorium. Pre-registration is not required.

City Serve Snack Out Packing Party
City Serve Snack Out: Winston-Salem First is preparing 1500 snack bags to serve our city for Easter! Join us Wednesday, April 1st at 6:30 in the Grand Concourse to "pack the bags."
Distribution will happen on Saturday right after our Easter egg hunt. We need as many hands as possible to help us create the bags. If you would like to help with the effort, please register here to help pack.
