Crux
A faith based gathering for 20-somethings & young professionals
Beliefs
Prayer is being present to God. Both community and
individual time in prayer are crucial. Deep spiritual formation happens when
God has opportunity to direct us. We believe that community prayer propels us
into God’s call for our city. Individual prayer time is responsible for life
changing revelation in the individual’s heart. Prayer is key to spiritual
growth; it transforms the life into God created identity.
Community is about doing Christ – centered life together. We believe that God calls us to live as a biblically functioning community through relationships and serving one another. We encourage young adults to pray, worship, serve, and hang out together. Our small groups create opportunities to form relationships as well as to reform hearts.
Mission is about stepping outside of the church, in order to share Jesus’ love with the city. We believe the submission of our time and of our talents creates opportunities to impact others. A great potential for life changing relationships relies on our willingness to reach out. Crux believes it is time for a generation to see, think and speak like Jesus. It is our mission to serve this world the way Christ has served us.
